Donations
Chuck Woodstock, our founder, believed in giving back to the community that supported his business, and Woodstock's has done just that almost since the day it first opened its door (yes, there was only one) on September 7, 1977.
Who we give to
Our giving mission is mainly for organisations and events that support:
- Education
- Children
- Women and families in need
- And yes, we include those pets as part of the family!
Those come first, but we've been known to give to other causes if the budget allows and the pitch is outstanding. As one former employee was fond of saying, “You don't know if you don't ask.”
What we can do
We generally can't make straight-out money donations, but we do make in-kind donations and host fund-raising days in the restaurant, where a portion of the day's proceeds goes to your organisation (limited availability). There's also a year-round fund-raising option if you're not at the “we need it right now!” point yet.
How to ask
Because we get so many requests, all requests must be in writing. Use our request form, or send your own letter with at least the same information.
Mail it (USPS) or drop it off at 1045 NW Kings Blvd, Corvallis. Our giving budget is usually fully allocated well in advance, so last-minute requests are unlikely to make it. Don't procrastinate!
